Irrigation and yield, honestly scoped

If you already have soil moisture probes, a weather station or a flow meter, the data is worth modelling and the payback in water and energy is real. If you do not, the first project is not a sensor network. It is getting three years of yield, input cost and sale price into one place per plot, so the question of which block actually makes money stops being a matter of opinion.
